And...We Have Dog
3-12-10
We lost much more snow today, small creeks and rivers are flooding, and the redwinged blackbirds are back. Bear spent several minutes rolling in the grass. What a life!

More Fog, Less Snow
3-11-10
The fog cleared a few hours after I took this photo but it was still cloudy. A large flock of grackles descended on our yard. When I start hearing the redwinged blackbirds, I'll know it's spring!

Missed a Day!
Yes, I wasn't able to get a photo yesterday but just imagine the inside of a dirty, gray cottonball and you pretty much know what yesterday was like - very foggy.
Here is the photo for 3-8-10, another foggy day:
Below is today's photo, 3-10-10. It started out very foggy, then cleared a bit. You can see the snow is disappearing!

Two Days' Worth
I am able to post only every other day right now but I have been able to get a photo every day. Here is the one from yesterday, 3-6-10, when it was nice and sunny:
Yesterday afternoon we got rain. Today it was cloudy and foggy:

We're Melting, Melting!
3-1-10
I believe that the great melt-down of winter 2009-2010 has begun! This could get very messy, but at least it's warmer. I won't complain.
